So last night I went to my first HOMM (higher order moms of mulitples) meeting. Everyone there either had triplets or was pregnant with triplets. There were a total of 9 of us, 3 of us are pregnant and the other 6 had triplets. One lady had all boys but everyone else had a mix. Of the pregnant ladies, one is having all boys, one is having a mix, and I am the only one who is having (or has) all girls. All 3 of us are delivering at the same hospital and are due within a week of each other, so we may all end up there together, imagine how crazy the hospital would be with 3 sets.
It was great to connect and talk to people who are going through the same thing (or have gone through). The stories were very encouraging and it was fun to see pictures of all the triplets. We talked about strollers, cars, nannies, etc. Everyone encouraged hiring a night nurse for the first 3 months or so. I don't know how people can afford that, it seems so expensive especially since I will be out of work for the first 8 weeks and Scott may not be working at all. We are hoping that we can do it with family help but I know it will be hard.
They started construction on the nursery last week I will have to take an 'in progress' picture tonight and then an 'after' picture later. We are also going to do a frog theme in the bathroom I just got the border this weekend so I hope to start putting that up soon.
My next appt is on Thursday and we are very eager to see the babies again, I can feel them moving some and Scott tries to feel them, he said that one morning he thinks he felt a little movement, he was excited.
