On Wednesday nights we have our small group with other married couples from our church. We got an email earlier in the week saying that we would be having a cookout this Wednesday and they needed a head count. It was suppose to be a very nice day so we didn't think anything of it. We are usually late to our meetings because I get home late from work. This week since I was only working part-time we were finally on time. When we got there we were surprised to see that we were the last ones there, we laughed at our luck to always be last. When we walked in everyone said surprise, they had decorated everything and had a huge diaper cake as a centerpiece. We had food, cake, and even games. It was so much fun watching the guys participate in the games. They made Scott and I taste baby food and guess what it was, it tasted bad and I just barely tasted it, but Scott would take a big bite it was funny to watch him. We also did a nursery rhyme trivia, I did awful, but Scott won LOL. We had so much fun, the food, decorations, and games were terrific. We also got some really great gifts: diapers, toys, crib sheets, pacifiers, teethers, and lots of other baby goodies. We feel very blessed and are so glad to have such support from our friends.
