5 Months

I cannot believe that the girls will be 5 months old on Thursday (Christmas Eve). They bring so much joy to us with their giggles and smiles. It seems that each day their smiles and giggles increase. We are so thankful for this Holiday season and for having such healthy and happy little girls to share it with.

As my last post indicated the girls are eating some solids, if you call rice cereal with formula 'solids'. Scott says Emma acts like a little bird when you feed her and he is right, she just waits for her turn with her mouth open and her head titled back. If you don't get to her fast enough she will let you know. Olivia does not like this new food, but we have found that if you add a small tsp of apple juice to it she will lick her lips and eat some, she still makes the funniest faces though. Savannah eats her food but she doesn't seem to beg for more like Emma, she will eat what she is given unless she would rather talk like last night. She is such a talker that we have trouble feeding her sometimes because she would rather talk and she can't talk if she has a bottle. So sometimes we have to wait 15 minutes to feed her so she can finish talking.
