We had a wonderful and busy Easter with the girls. They got all kinds of goodies from the Easter bunny a few big items were their guitars and zhu zhu pet house and accessories. The Easter bunny hid all the eggs inside since it was kind of chilly outside that morning. This year the girls were more interested in what was inside the eggs, they had their mouths full of candy in a matter of minutes.
After they ate their candy and played with their new toys everyone headed upstairs for a much needed bath. We all got ready and headed out to church at my parents. On the way down Scott said to me, what does Emma have back there. I turn around and see a really long piece of white something. It was her hat, she tore apart her hat. All that was left was the round piece on top the whole brim was now this long strip of what had been her hat.
We made it in just enough time to get a few family pictures. The girls sat in big church for the first half then went down to hear the children's sermon. I was hoping they would not create a scene down front, but Emma decided to wiggle her way to the front and lay down on her back in front of the preacher and listen to the story. I guess it could have gone worse. Emma and Savannah went with Bethany and Jesse to nursery after the children's sermon but Olivia insisted on staying in big church. She did really well and didn't make any noise.
After church we headed to my aunt pat's house for lunch and another easter egg hunt. The girls were not very interested in eating. The weather was so beautiful, they played outside with all of the toys, slides, cars, balls, etc. for hours. We finally left around 4:30 and Olivia and Emma were out in 5 minutes, Savannah almost made it home before surrendering to her sleepiness.
