A day with 4 kids

I am so glad that spring has arrived, we were getting very tired of staying inside with the girls all the time. Now with the nice weather we have been able to get out more.

This weekend was Jayla's 3rd birthday so my mom and dad took Bethany who is also 3 up to Fayetteville for the party. Scott and I kept my nephew Jesse while Stephanie worked on Saturday. I was nervous about having 4 kids and figured that it would be an exhausting day, but instead it was actually very enjoyable and fun. As it turns out Jesse is very entertained by our girls and they are very entertained by him.

The day went like this:
10 am Jesse arrives, the girls are playing in their exersaucers. Jesse stands in the middle of the floor watching them.

10:30 he decides that it is acceptable to now get closer to the girls. They all stop and watch him as he walks around them. They laugh at him and smile, he gets closer and starts playing with their toys.
11:00 we feed Jesse and put everyone down for a nap.
11:30 all 4 babies are sleeping
1:00 we wake up the girls and feed them, Jesse gets up
1:30 all 4 babies eat solid food
2:00 Kelly comes over without Jack (he is sleeping) and we take them all for a walk
3:00 the girls play in their exersaucers with Jesse, he liked Olivia's toys the best so he would stand there and play then Emma would jump up and down and he would notice her so he would walk over there and play with her. Then Savannah would yell at him and he would notice her and walk all the way around the other two to get to her and talk to her and play and then back to Olivia. Scott and I just sat and watched, it was so so funny to see them all want to play, they would laugh and smile at each other non-stop it was too cute. We tried to take some video footage but the batteries were dead.
4:00 everyone goes down for a nap, ok so this nap wasn't as successful, Olivia decided not to sleep and then at 4:30 I heard Jesse moving around, I don't think he slept either. At 4:30 Savannah wakes up and Olivia sleeps finally.
5:00 time to eat again, the girls get bottles Jesse has mac and cheese.
5:30 Stephanie arrives to pick up Jesse

So it was a fun day, Jesse entertained us all, let's just hope everyone sleeps well tonight!
