The girls had their 12 month check-up yesterday and everyone is doing great, it was a good report. We are constantly surprised though at the girls weights, they are only in the 5-25% for weight, but they are 50-75% for height. We asked the doctor about their low weights but he is not at all concerned, they just take after their dad and are skinny. Like Scott says what girl is going to complain about being tall and thin? Here are the latest stats on each:
Emma: 29 1/2 inches tall; 17lbs 10.6oz
Olivia: 29 7/8 inches tall; 18lbs 6oz.
Savannah: 30 inches tall; 18lbs 1.8oz.
They are on whole milk now and eat practically everything! They love cheerios, fruit, yogurt, meatballs and greenbeens, but they aren't crazy about turkey. Savannah is actually not crazy about most meats at all, she is our picky eater. Speaking of eating, they all have plenty of teeth to chew their food, Emma and Olivia both have 7 and Savannah has 8.
The girls say a few more words now, they have all been saying mommy/daddy for a while but now we have added, Hey, Hello - Savannah, Yes - Olivia, Bye - Emma. Besides saying words to Scott and I the girls are constantly chattering among themselves. They are starting to develop their own unique language.
Savannah and Olivia are good at standing alone but no one is walking without assistance yet. It is coming very soon.

At least you don't have to worry about them being over the percentile. My nephew just turned 12months on July 10th. And he was 30 pounds at his 12 month check up. A little chunker!! But he's still adoreable! The pediatrician wasn't worried at all about his weight either.
