Last Tuesday Scott’s parents and grandmother arrived to celebrate Christmas with us. Their flight was very delayed because of the snow storm and they arrived about 6 hours after they had planned. They said it didn’t look much different when they landed from when they took off because we had a good bit of snow here too. Scott and I were excited to visit with his parents and we both took time off while they were here. We celebrated Christmas with the girls and they really had a good time. By now they have really figured out how to unwrap gifts. They got some really cute outfits and toys, here are some cute pictures from our Christmas with Scott’s family.
Unfortunately the rest of the visit did not turn out as well as I had planned (and I had really done a lot of planning to make it fun). I came down with a terrible cold/virus and I felt awful but with having company I could not just stay in bed. Plus Scott decided that he and my dad and his dad were going to build a small built-in bookcase in the playroom. It turned out beautiful but took 3 days instead of the 1 I had been promised so instead of resting I was making meals and watching the girls. I was very ready to go back to work where at least I could sit down all day at my desk.
Mem was in charge of morning snacks and each girl stood right by her to get their raisins or goldfish it was cute. They also found Mem to be a fun jungle gym and climbed all over her. 
Here is a picture with the girls and their Grammy (Scott's mom). This was the day I returned to work and so I am not responsible for the girls hairdo's or lack thereof. 
I am still recovering from this horrible cold/virus, it seems to be making rounds everywhere. The girls seemed to be snotty and grumpy for a few days but they are all better now, I wish I was so lucky.
