Last weekend the girls nanny of 2 years, Katelin got married. They were asked to be her flower girls for the wedding. I was pretty nervous at how they would do during the ceremony, at 3 1/2 our attention span is not very long. They did well for the rehearsal but they weren't really required to stand there for a long period of time.

On the day of the wedding my sister Stephanie came and did their hair, she even curled it with a curling iron which they loved having her do. They all cooperated really well and did a good job taking pictures. After the pictures were done we had a long wait before the ceremony. We went to the bathroom and did hair touch-ups and then ate some snacks and then still sat around for a while.
When it was time for them to come down the aisle they each threw their petals and did well. Olivia found me sitting on the end of the row and smiled and giggled and said, 'Hey', very cute. During the ceremony they decided that they should empty their baskets of all their flowers so they dropped their petals on the floor one by one until they were all gone. Then Emma and Olivia decided they should probably pick them up (I guess we taught them well). So there they went all over the front picking up petals. At one point Olivia started jumping after them, it was so funny. Then Emma took off down the aisle picking up flowers I thought I was going to have to go after her but she finally came back. Then Emma decided to go up the stairs, she made it about half way and I was trying to frantically get her attention to come back. At about 3/4 of the way up she stopped and came down but I was on the verge of having to go get her. They finally all sat down and watched for a while, though Savannah's pose was not very lady-like.
I found out afterwards that most of the people couldn't see them and since they were actually quiet the whole time no one except those of us on the front knew what was going on. Even Katelin said she thought they had been great (of course she hasn't seen the video yet).
Here is the happy couple.
