We left Wednesday night and our first stop was at my friend Kathy's she is an old neighbor and great craft guru. We stayed there Wednesday night and just hung out and did a little bit of shopping in the morning before heading out to Dot and Dick's.
This trip was very laid back we just hung around the house but there was plenty to do. Dot-Dot had turned her sewing room into a little craft area for the girls with paper, crayons, glue and glitter. The girls called it their craft room and would work in there for hours. We also spent time seeing the flower and vegetable gardens, riding on Dick's tractors, playing games, and feeding the horses and goats, We were spoiled with wonderful home made (mostly even from the garden) meals.
On our last night we were invited to a campfire at the 'big girls' house. Samantha and Courtney and their mother Nancy are Dot and Dick's adopted Atlanta family. They really have grown into big girls now and Samantha is even headed to college this fall. After dinner the big girls showed us their hammocks which were really neat, we all played in those for about an hour. When it started to get dark we had a campfire with so-mores.
