On Tuesday 5/26 I had an appt with the OB doctor. At these appts they just listen to the babies and don't do an ultrasound, this is a fun game of hide and seek with the babies. The nurse found Baby A very easy, and found Baby B also pretty easily. Baby C was easy to find but hard to listen to because she kept moving around so much. I could feel her moving, but then all of a sudden she kicked the probe thing that the nurse was holding, she kicked it so hard it actually flew out of the nurse's hands. The nurse jumped and I jumped and she looked at me and said "did you see that". I responded, "yes and I felt that", it was so funny, it took a few minutes to re cop and then she was able to quickly get the heartbeat before Baby C got angry again.
When the doctor came in the first thing she said was that typically they don't let people work as long as I have worked and that I need to come out of work. I asked her if I could work til Friday which would be the end of the month and she said she would let me know at the end of the exam.
By the end of the exam everything checked out well including my blood pressure so she said I could work til Friday, that will give me time to tie up any lose ends.
