Valentine's Day

Holidays are just so much more fun with little ones around.  Scott and I had left Valentine bears and some candy for each girl on the table the night before.  He was gone when they woke up, but when I walked downstairs with them they immediately noticed the bears.  For breakfast I had made them pink milk and Katelin had some strawberries, and red oatmeal to go with it.  Then the girls went on a play date and had a tea party with their friends.

They had been busy for weeks making valentine boxes and cards for their friends.  They also made these cute little hats for the party.  Katelin bought them the cutest tea seat made out of tin so it wouldn't break.  They love playing with it and want to put water in it so they can pour it in the cups and drink it.

Scott and I were able to meet for lunch since his job is now closer to mine.  It was such a nice lunch, I had steak and he had fish.  We then finished it off with my favorite 2 layer cheesecake.

Scott got home first and showed up with roses for all his girls.  The girls each got one pink rose and mommy got a dozen.  They loved their flowers, when I got home they met me at the gate saying 'flowers' 'flowers' and took my hand to show me the roses.  They each showed me theirs and pointed at the others telling me those were mine.  It was so cute how excited they were, especially Emma.  I also had bought some little make-up sets for them so I gave them those and they really enjoyed playing with those.

The girls made Scott and I valentine cards with their fingerprints, very sweet.  I'm sure they had some help.  Scott gave me a beautiful necklace it has 3 pearls inside a silver charm, called Mother's Embrace.  It is very nice I love how it represents my three little girls.  I gave him a remote control car, he enjoyed showing it off to the girls, but they were a little skittish of it.

What a nice day we all had.
